For skin that feels tight by lunch. A cleanser that never strips, face oils that soften, and one simple habit that keeps the moisture in.

Signature mushroom

Reishi

Ganoderma sichuanense

Reishi and five plant oils

Reishi is best known in skincare for its polysaccharides, natural sugars that hold on to water. In a small four-week study, a reishi extract raised skin hydration by 7.5%. Face Food pairs it with sunflower, rosehip, jojoba, cranberry and calendula oils to soften skin and slow moisture loss.

Proven partner

Colloidal oat

In Reishi Reset

Oat helps dry skin hold on to moisture. In a study of 50 women with dry skin, an oat lotion improved dryness and the skin's moisture barrier. Reishi Reset is built on oat, so cleansing leaves skin comfortable, never tight.

How to use it

Oil doesn't add water; it holds it in. Right after cleansing, while your face is still damp, press 3–4 drops of Face Food into your skin. At night, add a drop or two more to the driest spots.

Good to know

Hot water and foaming cleansers strip the oils you're trying to keep. Rinse with lukewarm water and let Reishi Reset do the cleansing.

Research, not rhetoric

Reishi and shiitake are our signature. The lab research on them is promising and early, and the human studies so far are small. So every ritual pairs them with ingredients that have the human studies behind them: niacinamide, colloidal oat and plant oils. We'd rather tell you that than oversell.

Do I need a moisturizer as well as Face Food?

Most people don't. Pressed onto damp skin, Face Food moisturizes on its own. If your skin is very dry, use it morning and night, and a little more in winter.
